Since November 2004 premises that use beverage gases ,CO2 and mixed gases, have been required by AS5034 and Duty of Care to protect their staff from gas leaks by installing a Gas Monitor . These units detect gas leaks and an alarm sounds if the level of CO2 reaches a level of 1.5% or greater ,or the Oxygen level falls below 19.5%. AS5034 recommends that monitors are hardwired to the power supply and that a backup battery is supplied .
Premier recommend and install the Crowcon Cellarsafe unit . This unit meets all the requirements of the standard and ensures that you meet your duty of care .
